If you are walking down Uttam Nagar Road in Maninagar, you will find Himanshu Patel Commerce Institute right there on the ground floor of Hirabhai Tower. We are situated right opposite Mihir Tower, so it is easy to spot if you know the area. The place is mostly focused on commerce subjects, as the name suggests. It is not a huge office, but it works for what we need. We have some benches and a whiteboard where we go through accounts and math problems. It gets pretty busy around exam time. Ahmedabad can be a hectic city, and Maninagar is no different, so there is always noise from the street coming in. We don't spend much on decorations or big advertisements. Most of the students who come here are from the neighborhood or nearby schools. They just want a quiet-ish place to understand their syllabus better. The ground floor location helps because nobody has to climb many stairs after a long day. We open up in the morning and stay late into the evening. It’s just a straightforward spot for students who take their commerce studies seriously. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it's not too hot. We have been in this building for a bit now, and most of the locals know where we are.
