Hillwoods Academy Of Teachers Education

Our place is located right over in Sector 25 GIDC, just across from the Madhur Dairy. If you know the area, you’ve probably passed by Hillwoods School many times. We are tucked in there, focusing on training the next lot of teachers at Hillwoods Academy Of Teachers Education. It’s a bit of a hectic environment sometimes because there are always classes going on and people moving between rooms. We don't really go for anything flashy. The classrooms are simple and we use what we have to get the job done. Most of the staff here have been around for a long time and we know the local area well. People come here to learn how to manage a classroom and deal with kids, which is never as easy as it looks on paper. We spend a lot of time talking about lesson plans and how to explain things so they actually stick. It gets a bit noisy during the breaks, but that’s just part of being near a school. Sometimes the traffic outside near the dairy gets backed up, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a big corporate institution with shiny glass walls. It’s just a bunch of rooms where people sit down and figure out how to be better educators. We keep the doors open and try to help everyone who walks through. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. It is just a normal job for us.
