Our office is located at C-986 in Janta Nagar, which is right near the ONGC office on New CG Road in Chandkheda. It’s a convenient spot for people living in this part of Ahmedabad. We started this consultancy because we saw that a lot of folks around here needed help with their home and office computers. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. We run things from a simple room that is mostly filled with hardware manuals and spare parts. We spend a lot of time visiting people’s houses or having them drop off their towers and laptops here. Being near the ONGC office makes it easy to give directions. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on a difficult software problem. We aren't a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. We’ve been doing this for long enough that we can usually tell what’s wrong just by the sound a computer makes. We don’t do a lot of advertising. Most of our work comes from neighbors telling other neighbors about us. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here. We usually have some tea and talk about the weather or the local news while we wait for a backup to finish. We like being part of the Chandkheda community and helping out where we can without making things complicated for anyone.
