Hanumanth Patil’s place is at 11 Kanti Park. It’s right across from the church in Bopal. It’s a pretty easy landmark to find if you are new to the area. Bopal has changed a lot lately, getting busier every year with new shops and houses, but our little corner remains somewhat stable. Being near the church means it’s quite peaceful on most weekday mornings. Sundays are different, obviously, because of the crowds. We have a simple office. It’s functional and no-nonsense. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting area with magazines. You just walk in and we're right there at our desks. We spend our time on the tasks at hand. There's always something to organize or a call to make. We've been in Bopal long enough to remember when there were fewer paved roads around here. Now, everything you need is just a short walk away. We like the location. It's convenient for us and our visitors. The office itself has seen better days and maybe needs a fresh coat of paint, but it's comfortable for us. We know the quirks of the building, like which window sticks when it rains. It’s just a normal workplace for normal people. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Hanumanth is usually here making sure things stay on track. We just take it one day at a time, handling whatever comes through the door. It’s a good way to work.
