Hakimi Flowers & Decorators

Teen Darwaja is a place that never sleeps. We are located in the Tutorial Market, at FF-106. Being in the flower business like Hakimi Flowers & Decorators means our days start way before the sun is even up. The smell of marigolds and roses is everywhere around here. It’s a crowded market, and our shop is right in the thick of it. There are baskets of flowers, rolls of ribbon, and bits of wire all over the floor. It’s messy work, but that’s how it is when you’re dealing with plants and decorations. The stairs up to the first floor are narrow and we are always carrying big bundles up and down. Ahmedabad’s old city area is tight, so we have to be quick. We don't have time for fancy talk. We just get the flowers sorted and the orders ready. People come in looking for stuff for their homes or for big events. The noise from the street below is constant—shouting, honking, and the sound of the market life. Our walls are covered with notes and phone numbers scribbled everywhere. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend most of our time with dirt under our fingernails or tape stuck to our hands. It’s just a small shop in a big, busy market, and we like the energy of being right at Teen Darwaja. It keeps us on our toes every single day. We don't really close early because the market is always alive.
