Gurukul Classes & Spoken English

You will find Gurukul Classes & Spoken English on the third floor of Shayona Arcade. This is right in the middle of Bapunagar, which is always humming with activity. We are directly across from Dinesh Chambers, so if you find that building, you are basically here. Being up on the third floor is nice because it gets us away from some of the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking down on the main road. The arcade has a lot of stairs, so we definitely get our exercise every day. We spend most of our time in the rooms helping people with their English and other lessons. It’s a very straightforward setup with chairs and boards. We don't have fancy decorations or expensive furniture because we think the teaching is more important than how the office looks. The Bapunagar area is quite lively, so there are always places to grab a snack or a tea right after the classes are over. We’ve been here in Shayona Arcade for a bit, and we know many of the other shop owners on the different floors. It feels like a small community inside the building. We usually leave the windows open a crack to let some air in, even if it brings in a bit of dust. It's just a regular part of our day. We like the bustle of the city and the energy of the students who climb up those three flights of stairs to see us every afternoon for their lessons.
