Global Network

Our place is in room 308 at the University Plaza. It’s right at Vijay Cross Road in Navrangpura. This part of town is always buzzing with students and people heading to work. Being in a plaza means we have neighbors on all sides, mostly other small businesses. Our office for Global Network is a bit small, but it fits our computers and the servers we need to keep things running. We work on networks, so there are cables everywhere if you look behind the desks. We try to keep them tucked away, but it's a constant battle. The air conditioning is a bit loud, but it keeps the machines cool, which is what matters. We usually grab tea from the vendor downstairs twice a day. It’s a good way to stretch our legs. Most of our work is done sitting down, staring at monitors and code. We’ve been in Navrangpura for several years and know the area well. The traffic at the cross road can be a nightmare at five o'clock, so we usually stay a bit later to let it clear out before heading home. We aren't a big corporation, just a few people who understand how to keep a network from crashing. It’s straightforward work that requires a lot of patience. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things running without making a big fuss. It is a quiet but steady existence.
