You can find Global Fashions Jewellery Co. at Shop No. 5 in the Spectrum Commercial Center. We are right on Relief Road, which is one of those places that never seems to slow down. There are always people walking past and vendors shouting nearby. Our shop isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We spend a lot of time behind the glass counters, looking at the small details of the pieces we have. The lighting inside has to be just right, so we are always changing bulbs. It gets quite crowded in the center during festival seasons, and we end up working much longer hours then. We try to keep things tidy, but with so many people coming in and out, the floor always needs a mop. We have a small stool in the corner where we take turns sitting down when our feet start to ache. It’s a good spot because we get to see all kinds of people every day. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk with our customers; we just show them what we have on the shelves. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall struggles, so we keep a small fan behind the counter. It’s just a regular jewelry shop trying to keep up with the daily rush on Relief Road. We've been in this spot for years and know most shopkeepers here.
