We are based right on Gheekanta Road, which is one of the busiest parts of the whole city. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know there is a lot of noise, plenty of traffic, and people everywhere at all hours. It’s a very energetic place to have an office. We spend our time here working on mobile apps and different kinds of information systems. Most of our day involves staring at computer screens, so we keep the office tucked away from the street noise as much as we can. We usually have the air conditioning running to keep the servers and the computers from getting too hot. It is a big contrast to the heat and the chaos right outside our window on the main road. We have our desks set up in a simple way and we just focus on coding or fixing whatever technical bugs have come up that morning. Our office isn't large and we don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a place where the work happens. Sometimes we take a break and go out for a quick tea at the stall on the corner just to watch the hustle of Gheekanta Road for a few minutes. We’ve been at this location for a while and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the neighborhood. People often drop in with their laptops or phones asking for a bit of help with their software. We just try to help out where we can.
