Gayatri Medical & General Store

You can find our store at shop number 29 in the New Satadhar Complex. We are right by the C P Nagar bus stop in Ghatlodia. It’s a good spot because the bus drops people off almost right in front of us. Bhuyangdev Cross Road is the main landmark nearby. We’ve been running this medical and general store for quite a while now. It’s mostly just us handling the counter, stocking the medicine strips, and helping people find what they need. The complex gets pretty crowded during the day with all the different shops around. We sell everything from bandages to shampoo. It's a lot of manual work, checking expiry dates and making sure we have enough stock. Ghatlodia is a busy residential area, so we see a lot of families. Sometimes we're busy, sometimes it's quiet enough to sit down for a tea. The weather in Ahmedabad makes the shop quite warm in the summer, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town, just a reliable place for the people nearby. We know the local doctors and what they usually prescribe. Most of our day is spent standing behind the glass counter or looking through the wooden drawers for a specific box of pills. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the neighborhood here at the Satadhar Complex. We try to keep things simple for everyone.
