Our business is tucked away on the mezzanine floor at No. 94 in the New Cloth Market. Raipur is a busy place, and the market is right in the heart of it. The mezzanine floor has a bit of a low ceiling. It feels quite cozy, or maybe a bit cramped depending on how you look at it. We have been here for a lot of years now. The space is filled with rolls of cloth and different materials we have collected. We don't have any fancy office furniture. It is just a couple of old desks and some stools for us to sit on. It’s a family-run thing, mostly just me and my brother. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who drops by. The market is always loud with people shouting and carts being pushed around. We’ve gotten used to the noise over time. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't use computers for much. We keep everything written down in our big books. Sometimes the shipments arrive all at once and there’s hardly any room to move. We just stack them up and deal with it. It’s a lot of physical work, moving the heavy rolls. If you’re looking for us, just head up the small stairs near the entrance. We don't have a big sign, but everyone around here knows where we are. We try to stay until the market closes.
