G L And Sons is located in Vidya Nagar. If you know where the Ashok Pal Showroom is, we are just near there. It’s a decent spot for us. The business has been around for a while, and like the name says, it’s a family thing. We’ve got the sons involved now, which keeps things moving even when the older guys want to take a break. We don’t really have a big fancy sign or a lobby. It’s mostly just a workspace where we handle our daily business. Vidya Nagar is a good neighborhood, fairly quiet compared to the main city areas, but we still get our fair share of foot traffic because of the showroom nearby. We spend most of our day talking to people who drop in or checking on the inventory. There isn't some big corporate strategy here. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and go home. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice and just watch the cars go by on the street. It’s a simple life. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, more shops opening up and things getting a bit more crowded, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We’re just a local family business trying to make a living and help out the folks who come through our door. It’s been that way since the start and we like it.
