Fusion Event

Our place is at 20 Shreerangviila Row House in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad. We’re right near L J College, so there are always students around the area. Fusion Event is run out of this row house, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a cold office. We have turned the ground floor into our workspace. There’s a lot of stuff piled up in the corners—mostly decorations and sound equipment that we haven't put away yet. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot, so we usually keep the curtains drawn during the day to stay cool. We don’t have any polished marketing slogans. We just sit around the table and figure out how to make things work for the next client. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving boxes and setting up stages. We do a lot of our own repairs when things break. The team is just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We aren't fancy and we don't wear suits to work. Usually, it's just jeans and t-shirts because we're always on the move. Sometimes we walk over to the college area to get some street food for lunch. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't know what else to do with ourselves. We just take one event at a time and try to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. It’s not always perfect, but we put in the effort every single day here in Vastrapur.
