We are located at Supath 2 on Ashram Road in Ahmedabad, right next to the Union Bank. The office is usually filled with the sound of typing and people talking about numbers. We focus on financial literacy and helping people understand how money works, but the day-to-day is just regular office tasks. There are a lot of spreadsheets and documents to go through. We try to keep things simple because finance can get confusing for a lot of folks. The area around Ashram Road is always busy, so there is a lot of noise from the street coming in. We spend a good part of the day explaining different concepts or organizing workshops. It isn't a flashy place, just a standard office where we get things done. Sometimes we have a lot of people coming in for meetings, and other times it’s just us catching up on paperwork. We’ve been here for some time now and have gotten used to the local pace. There is a lot of reading involved in what we do, staying up to date with new rules or changes in the market. We don't use a lot of jargon if we can help it. It is mostly just about sitting down and looking at the facts and figures to see what makes sense. Most of the day is spent just showing people how to manage their money better without making it too complicated. It takes quite a bit of patience to get everything right.
