Eye Optical Clinic

The Eye Optical Clinic is located at Shop No 1 in the Narain Shopping Center. We are over in Amraiwadi, right by the Rabari Colony and Vastral area. It’s a busy little shopping center. Our shop is right at the front, so it’s easy to spot when you walk in. I spend a lot of time adjusting frames and talking to people who walk in from the colony. Amraiwadi is a working-class neighborhood, and we fit right in. The shop has been here for a good few years. We have rows of glasses on the shelves, and I try to keep them organized by price, but they always get mixed up. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but that’s how you see the frames properly. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a funny rattling noise, but it still keeps the place cool. Outside, there’s usually a lot of noise from the traffic near Rabari Colony. It’s just a small shop, really. My brother and I take turns running the place. We don’t have any big corporate rules or anything. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer. Most people come in because they broke their old pair or need something cheap for work. It’s a steady pace, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. I’ve lived in Vastral my whole life, so I know most of the families around here.
