Eye Care Clinic

I’ve been working at the Eye Care Clinic here in Shahibaug for a while now. Right on White House Camp Road is where you'll find us, just across from Rajasthan Hospital. It’s a busy spot but people usually find us easily enough. Most days start early with setting up the equipment and checking the schedule. Whether their vision is getting blurry or they just need a quick check, people come in for all sorts of things. We have the usual machines you'd expect in an eye place. There's nothing fancy about the waiting area, just some chairs and magazines that are probably out of date. When the traffic picks up outside on Camp Road, it gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the power flutters, but we manage. If you are looking for us, look for the big sign near the hospital entrance. My colleague handles the front desk; she’s usually there to answer the phone if it’s not too hectic. To keep things moving, we try not to let anyone sit around too long. It’s a simple setup, nothing too grand. Helping people see a bit better is mostly what we do here. Because the medical terms get confusing, we sometimes have to explain things twice. Lunch breaks are usually quick because there's always someone walking in. We’ve been at this location for some time and most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here at the clinic. Mostly we just keep things quiet and steady for everyone.
