Environs

Environs is on the first floor of the Anand Complex. We’re at Plot No-3, right on C.G. Road in Navrangpura. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening outside. Being on the first floor is nice because we don't have to wait for the elevator. We can just walk up the stairs and get straight to it. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We have these heavy wooden desks and some plants that we try to keep alive. The name Environs is on a small plaque by the door. We do a lot of planning and consulting work here. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a modern tech startup. It’s more of a place where people sit and think. The street noise from Navrangpura comes through the windows sometimes, especially when the traffic is bad. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. Most of the other tenants know us. We aren't big on meetings that last hours. We usually just talk across the room to get things sorted. It’s a simple way of working. Sometimes we go out to the local shops for tea in the afternoon. It’s a good community around here. We just do our work, deal with the clients that come by, and keep the files in order. It’s a regular job in a regular part of the city. We just focus on the work and keep things simple for everyone involved.
