Our place is located in Vishal Tower, right on the first floor in unit A 102. If you know Ahmedabad, you probably know how busy Anandnagar Road gets during the rush hours. Being in the Satellite area means there is always something happening outside, and the noise from the traffic is just part of our daily background music. We work on filters and engineering equipment, which keeps our hands full most days. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a functional office where we deal with clients and look over technical specs. The air conditioning is a necessity here because the Gujarat heat doesn't play around, especially in May. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We grab lunch from the nearby stalls often, or someone brings a tiffin to share. The building has seen better days, but it’s a good spot for us because it’s central. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It's a lot of technical talk about flow rates and mesh sizes, things that wouldn't mean much to someone outside the trade. We just show up, do the engineering work required, and try to get home before the traffic on the main road gets too backed up. It’s a straightforward life here in the tower, focusing on the equipment we build and the orders we have to fill.
