Emri 108

We are based at D- 501 Yash Avenue, which is near the Mansarovar Township on the Ioc Road in Chandkheda. This is the place where the Emri 108 work happens for this area. It is basically an apartment that we use for our operations. Since it is an emergency service, things can get a bit tense sometimes. The phones are always there, and there is a lot of coordination going on with the ambulances. It’s not a polished corporate office. You will see some tea cups on the desks and stacks of logs that need to be filled out. Being in a residential building like Yash Avenue means we see a lot of the same faces every day in the hallway. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially with all the new construction going on in Chandkheda. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights on the building. Most people wouldn't even know we are here unless they saw the address. We just sit in our chairs and keep the communication lines open. It is a job that doesn't really stop, but we have our small moments of quiet. The view from the fifth floor shows a lot of the township, which is nice when the sun goes down. We just do our shifts and make sure everything is recorded properly in the books. It is just the way we operate.
