We are based in the Empire Tower on CG Road, which is one of the busiest parts of the city. Being in a tall building like this means we spend a fair amount of time waiting for elevators, but the view of the traffic below is something to see. Our space is dedicated to web technology, so we are mostly a group of people sitting behind screens for eight or nine hours a day. CG Road is always full of energy, and you can hear the city noise even from up here. We work on websites and digital stuff, which means our desks are covered in notebooks, half-empty coffee mugs, and various gadgets. It’s a casual atmosphere; we don't wear suits or anything like that. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all sit around frustrated, but mostly we are just head-down in our projects. We have some basic furniture and a few plants that we occasionally remember to water. People often think tech offices are these futuristic places, but ours is just a normal room with a bunch of cables and people trying to meet deadlines. We go down to the street level for lunch or a quick snack, joining the crowds on the sidewalk. It’s been our home for a while now, and we like being in the center of things. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just us doing our web work in the middle of a busy tower.
