Empire Air Conditioning Pvt. Ltd. is at 117 in the Ashirvad Industrial Estate. We are right opposite the Fruit Market on Naroda Road. Being across from the fruit market means it is always lively around here. Early in the morning, you can see all the trucks bringing in fresh produce. It smells like oranges and mangoes sometimes, which is a nice change from the usual industrial smells. Naroda Road is always packed with people and vehicles. Our spot in the estate is number 117, and it is where we keep all our gear and parts. Air conditioning work is a lot of heavy lifting and getting your hands dirty. We are out in the field a lot, but this is where we come back to regroup. The workshop has stacks of units and tools everywhere. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to customers who drop by. It gets pretty warm in the warehouse, which is ironic considering what we do. We have a few old chairs in the corner where we take our breaks. It is a simple setup. We focus on getting the units fixed and out the door. No one here wears a suit; we are all in our work clothes ready to move. It is just the way we like to run things.
