Our place is in Gokul Dham Society in Ahmedabad. We deal with water stuff. It's a lot of equipment and checking pipes and filters. The society is usually quiet in the mornings. We've been here for some time now. Dealing with water is constant work. There is always something needing attention. We keep busy with the technical side of things. It’s not a glamorous job. You end up with wet boots quite a bit. The office is at number 110. It’s easy to find once you are in the gate. We have a small crew. We mostly look at how to get the water right. It involves a lot of testing. Sometimes the machinery is stubborn. We just keep at it until it works. People around here know us as the water guys. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Work comes in and we go out to the sites. It’s a steady rhythm. Ahmedabad heat can be tough during the outdoor bits. We just drink plenty of tea and keep moving. There's usually a stack of manuals on the table and some spare parts in the corner. It's not the cleanest office but we know where everything is. We just get on with it. If there's a problem with a pump or a filter, we go and fix it. That's the whole story. It is simple work but it keeps us on our toes.
