D.K. Trading Company

D.K. Trading Company is basically just us working out of Kaladham Flats here in Ahmedabad. We’ve been at Haridas Park Society for a while now, right across from Ocean Park on Satellite Road. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes the traffic gets a bit much when we’re trying to move things in and out. Mostly, our days are spent on the phone or checking lists. We deal with whatever comes through the door. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up. Being in 6 Kaladham Flats means we’re tucked away in a residential area, so it stays relatively quiet until the afternoon rush starts outside. We’ve got a small team. Someone usually brings in tea around eleven. We just handle the trades, keep the records straight, and try to get things shipped out on time. It’s a lot of coordination, really. Some days are slower than others. We don't have a big storefront or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they’re looking specifically for trading help in this part of Gujarat. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up, which happens once in a blue moon. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a straightforward business. We like it that way. No big frills, just getting the job done daily.
