Som Electronics

Som Electronics is based out of S - 24 in Vikram Chambers, right on Ashram Road near the Income Tax office. If you’ve ever been to this part of Ahmedabad, you know how packed the streets get with traffic and people. Our shop is in an older building, so it has that lived-in feel to it. Inside, there are shelves filled with various components and gadgets we’re working on. It’s not a shiny showroom. It’s more of a place where things actually get fixed and tested. There are wires hanging in some places and stacks of old boards in the corners. We spend our days under the fluorescent lights, squinting at circuit boards and soldering things together. The noise from Ashram Road stays outside for the most part, but you can always hear the faint sound of horns during rush hour. We’ve been here quite a while, and we know many of the other shop owners in Vikram Chambers. It’s a tight space, but we have everything we need within arm's reach. Sometimes people come in just to ask a quick question about a device that stopped working. We do our best to help out. It’s a steady pace of work, and we like the central location, even if parking can be a bit of a headache for everyone.
