You can find Dj Jay over on C G Road in Ahmedabad. We are on the second floor of the Shivam Complex. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Freez Land Hotel. It’s a busy area and there is always plenty of traffic and people walking around outside. The complex is pretty easy to spot from the main road. Up here on the second floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street level. We have a lot of gear stacked up usually—speakers, cables, and mixers. It’s not a fancy studio, just a place where we prep for gigs and handle the business side of things. Ahmedabad has a lot of energy, and being on C G Road puts us right in the middle of it. We spend a lot of time testing out sound and making sure everything is ready for the next event. The office is a bit dark because we have thick curtains to keep the heat out during the day. It’s a small team, mostly just friends working together to keep the music going. We’ve been at this location for some time now and it feels like home. There are plenty of places to grab a quick snack nearby when we are working late. We don’t have a big receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a very casual environment, which suits us just fine.
