You can find Dhairyakant Shah & Co. on the first floor of 20 Hatkesh Society. We are right on the road that goes to St. Xavier’s School, so it gets very busy when school starts and ends. You can hear the scooters and the parents calling out to their kids from our windows. The office itself is one of those classic old-school setups. We have heavy wooden desks and some old filing cabinets that have been with us since we started. There is a lot of paper everywhere, which is just the nature of being chartered accountants. We don't have a sleek lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and see us working. We’ve been in this part of Navjivan for years. The walls are a bit yellowed from time, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it works fine for us. We aren't big on appearances. We just care about getting the numbers right and making sure the filings are done on time. Most of our day is spent reading through documents and typing things into the system. We don't have any grand vision or fancy goals. We just provide a place where people can bring their tax problems and get them handled without a lot of drama. It’s a practical office for practical work. We like the neighborhood and the people who live and work around here every day.
