Dev Creation

We are located at 106 Raj Kamal Plaza A. It is right across from Sakar 3, near the Income Tax office. Our space is mostly filled with cutting tables and sewing machines. We focus on making clothes, which means there are always scraps of fabric and patterns lying around. It’s not the most organized place, but we have our own system. My sister and I started this together several years ago. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the garments. The building is quite old and the stairs are a bit narrow. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the colors match the samples. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we find it satisfying. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch of shirts or dresses. The area around the Income Tax office is always busy, so there is plenty of noise from the street. We usually eat our lunch together at the back of the shop. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. We just show people what we have made. Most of our customers come to us because they know we do a decent job for a fair price. It’s a simple way of doing things. We just try to keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door. It’s a small life but a good one. We enjoy the process of seeing a piece come together.
