We operate out of Gaurav Banglow No- 3, which is a row house in the CTM area. It’s right opposite the Sindhwai Temple, so we always have a good view of the people coming and going for darshan. CTM is a very lively part of Ahmedabad, especially along the Ramol Road. Since we are in a banglow, the atmosphere is very different from a commercial mall. It’s more personal and homey. We call ourselves Desp Pvt & Home Tution because we do a mix of things, both here at the house and going to students' homes. The front room of the row house is where most of the action happens. We have a few tables set up. It’s a family-run kind of thing, really. The temple bells are a constant backdrop to our afternoons. Sometimes when the festivals are on, it gets very loud and crowded outside, but it’s all part of living and working in CTM. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a regular house with books piled up on the shelves and papers everywhere. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the locals know where to find us. It’s a simple, honest way to run a tuition service. We just sit down with the students and work through their lessons, one page at a time, until the day is done and the temple lights come on.
