Deepakvaidya

Our office is in the Sugam Flats, which are located right behind the Vasna bus stop in Ahmedabad. It’s a very easy place to find because the bus stop is such a major point for the neighborhood. Deepakvaidya has been here at D/16 for quite a while now. The flat is basically our workspace. It’s not what you’d call a traditional business office with a big lobby. It’s a lived-in space where we keep our files and computers. Being in Vasna means there is always something going on outside. You can hear the buses coming and going all day long. It helps us stay on track with the time. The space is a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff going on, but we’ve learned how to organize it. Most of our day is just regular work. We don't do anything fancy. There’s a small balcony where we can see the street below. Sometimes the noise from the bus stop is a bit much, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks. It’s a very practical location for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s just a place where we put in the hours and get the job done. The neighbors in the flats are mostly families, so it feels like a very normal, everyday environment to work in. We stay busy and keep at it until the sun goes down.
