Our shop, Deep Pneumatics, is located at C 1-6 in the Gidc Estate in Naroda. We are right near Parry Steel, so that's a good landmark if you're trying to find us. Being in a GIDC area means it's all business, all the time. There's a lot of noise from the nearby factories. We handle pneumatic stuff, which basically means lots of air compressors and valves. It’s a greasy job sometimes. The office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main work area. It has a couple of old desks and a computer that’s seen better days. We don't put on airs here. If you come by, you'll see us in our work shirts, probably moving some heavy parts around. We’ve been here in Naroda for a long stretch. We know the tea stall guy and the other mechanics nearby. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of things to do. Some days are long, especially when a big order comes in or a customer has an emergency. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us. We try to keep the machines in good shape and the customers satisfied without making a big deal out of it. It’s just steady, manual work in a busy industrial part of town. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just cleaning up the floor after a big job.
