If you walk into Sarvopari Mall in Bhuyangdev, you will find us at unit 205. It is right in the Ghatlodia area of Ahmedabad, opposite the Utsav Party Plot. On weekends, we can often hear the music from the weddings across the street while we are trying to solve equations. Dax Maths Academy isn't tucked away in a quiet corner; it is right in the middle of the local hustle. The mall itself is a mix of different shops, so there are always people walking past our door. I remember when I first moved in, the room was completely empty and smelled like fresh paint. Now, it is filled with desks and a lot of scrap paper. Maths can be a real headache for many kids, so I try to keep the atmosphere here pretty relaxed. We don't have leather chairs or a fancy reception desk. I usually just sit at the front and wait for the students to show up after their regular school ends. The elevator in the mall is sometimes slow, so most of the younger ones just take the stairs two at a time. It is a practical space for learning. We focus on the numbers and the logic, nothing more than that. I often stay late to finish marking papers while the mall security starts closing up the main gates downstairs. It is a simple life, but it keeps me busy and the bills paid every month.
