Dalal Thakker & Company is located right at Door No. 155/1 in the Kabutarkhana area. If you know Kalupur, you know it can get pretty crowded around here. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time. It's not a huge place, but we make the most of it. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front. The streets are usually full of life early on. We handle things in a very traditional way. There are no computers running the show here, just people who know the trade. We talk to our customers face to face. It’s the way we prefer it. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the traffic outside, but that’s just the charm of Kalupur. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We just let the work speak for itself. My father worked here before me, and I’m just continuing what he did. We know the regulars by their first names. It’s a tight-knit spot despite being in such a busy part of town. The building is old but it holds up well. We focus on the basics and don't worry about much else. If you stop by, you'll see we are just regular folks doing a job. It’s simple and it keeps us busy from morning to night. We close up when the street lights come on and head home to get ready for the next day.
