Moving house is usually a mess, and that's basically where D L Packers & Movers comes in. We’re located right across from Big Bazar, near the Shanidev Mandir here in Raipur. It’s a busy spot, which is helpful because people can find us easily when they're out shopping. We spend most of our days wrapping things in bubble wrap or lugging heavy boxes down narrow staircases. It’s hard work on the back, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve seen all sorts of homes—some where everything is packed perfectly and others where it’s just a pile of clothes and dishes. We just show up with the truck and start loading. Our office isn't anything special; it's mostly a place to park the vehicles and store some extra tape and cardboard. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our jobs come from people seeing our trucks around Raipur or hearing about us from a neighbor. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three families want to move on the same Saturday, but we do what we can to fit everyone in. We try to be careful with the glass and the TV, though occasionally a box gets a dent—that’s just the reality of moving stuff. We’re just a local crew trying to help people get from one house to the next without losing their minds. It's a long day usually but we get it done.
