We are over at G-2 in the Asmita Appartment. It’s near Damubhai Colony in the Bhatta area of Paldi. Our space is on the ground floor, which makes it easier to move all our heavy cooking gear. We have big pots, iron stoves, and crates of plates stored here. It’s a working kitchen, so it isn't meant to look pretty. The walls have some stains from the steam, and the floor is often wet from prep work. We handle catering for weddings and small family gatherings around Paldi. It’s hard work. We are usually up before dawn to get things started. The Bhatta area is quite busy, so getting our delivery van in and out can be a struggle. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If the phone rings, one of the cooks usually answers it. We don't spend money on advertising. People usually find us because they saw our food at a friend’s party. The apartment society is mostly quiet, so we try to be careful when we are loading up early in the morning. It’s a lot of physical labor and sweating over hot fires, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this spot in Asmita Appartment for quite a few years now. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the food gets to the venue without spilling in the van.
