Curries Restaurant

We've been here at Rudra Building for a while now, just off the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway near Rajpath Club. It gets pretty busy out there on the main road, but inside it's just us getting things ready every morning. We start early, usually before the traffic really kicks in. The kitchen gets hot, and there is always something to chop or clean. People stop by when they’re heading somewhere else or coming from the club nearby. We don't have much time for fancy talk. It's mostly just making sure the food is out and the tables are wiped down. My cousin helps out with the supplies, and we handle the rest. Sometimes the highway noise is a lot, but you get used to it. The location is okay once you find the building. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There isn't a whole lot of mystery to it. We show up, we cook, we close up, and then we do it again the next day. It’s a lot of standing on your feet. If the floors are clean and the stove is working, it’s a good day. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years with more buildings going up. But we stay right here in our spot. It's just how things go for us at Curries Restaurant on the highway.
