Computer Operator

My workspace is located at F 10 in the Saral Apartments. It is right across from the Central Jail and near Subhash Bridge here in Ahmedabad. It is a pretty easy spot to find if you know the area even a little bit. I have been working as a computer operator from this flat for a good while. The apartment is mostly residential, so it is a calm environment for doing data work or typing things up. I have a few computers set up in the main room. It isn't a corporate office by any means. It is just me and some basic equipment. I spend most of my day sitting here, working through various files. Sometimes the traffic near the bridge gets loud, but you get used to it after a few months of working here. I like being near the jail because it is a major landmark and people always know where I am talking about when I give them the address. I handle a lot of different things, from basic letters to more complex data entry stuff. I do not use any fancy software, just the standard stuff that works for everyone. The building is older, but it is well-maintained enough for what I need. I usually keep my windows open for some fresh air, though the Ahmedabad dust can be a problem. I am usually here from nine to six, unless there is a lot of work that needs finishing.
