Computer Operator

You can find me working out of 49 Kundan Appartment, Part 3. It’s right across from Madhav Flat in the Vasna area of Ahmedabad. I’ve lived in this part of the city for a long time, and I’ve been doing computer work from this apartment for a good stretch of it. My setup isn’t anything like those big offices you see downtown. It’s just a corner of a room with a sturdy desk and my computer. I spend my days handling data entry, typing up records, and helping folks in the 380007 area with their online tasks. The sunlight comes in quite strong in the afternoons, so I usually have to adjust my monitor to avoid the glare. I don’t have a receptionist or a big staff. If you need something, you just come and talk to me directly. I keep things very simple and practical. My shelves are full of old manuals and stacks of paper that I’ve collected over the years. I’m not interested in being a big corporation. I just like the focus that comes with this kind of work. Sometimes the internet slows down when everyone else in the building is online, but I just use that time to organize my files or clear off my desk. It’s a quiet way to spend the day, and I’ve gotten quite fast at my typing because of it. If you’re in Vasna and need some computer help, I’m right here.
