Colour Eventz And Exhibits

Ahmedabad gets really hot, so our office is usually a haven of shade. Colour Eventz And Exhibits is our small operation here. We handle a lot of exhibit stuff, which means there’s always something being painted or hammered in the back. The smell of sawdust and paint is pretty common around here. We don't have a corporate office in a glass tower. It’s more of a workshop feel. We spend our mornings checking the vans and making sure we have all the banners and stands packed. Traffic in Ahmedabad can be a nightmare, so we try to head out early. The office itself is full of old samples from previous events. We have a couple of old cupboards that don't close right and a fridge that makes a weird humming sound. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby. Most of our work happens on-site at different halls or hotels. When we are back at the base, we just want to sit down and have a cold drink. We've been doing this for a bit, and we know the local vendors pretty well. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with a lot of dates circled in red ink. It’s a bit chaotic during the busy season, but we manage to get through it every year without too much trouble or fuss.
