Soham International

We are out in the Changodar Industrial Estate at number 382. It’s right near Shanker Ayurved on the Sarkhej-bavla Road. If you’ve been to Changodar, you know it’s a lot of industrial buildings and trucks. Our place, Soham International, fits right in. It’s a sturdy building, nothing too pretty to look at from the outside. Inside, we’ve got our setup for handling the daily business. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, but we have some big fans that help a little. We don't really have a front desk person or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. We are mostly focused on the logistics and getting things shipped out on time. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, so we’re always mopping the floors. It’s just part of being in this area. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea and take breaks. We don't have any big meetings about vision or stuff like that. We just look at what needs to be sent out today and we do it. It’s a basic way of working, but it’s kept us going for years. We know the other business owners around here, and it feels like a little community even if it is just a bunch of warehouses. Nothing complicated, just a few people working hard to keep things moving. We usually pack up and head out before the evening traffic gets too bad.
