Chandrika Perfumes House

Our place is at E-1, Chintan Flat, which is tucked behind the Jain Derasar in Krishannagar. It’s not on the main G.D. Road, so it’s a bit quieter than the rest of the neighborhood. We operate out of this residential-style area in Nayanagar, Saijpurbogha. It feels more like a home than a shop, to be honest. We have our various perfumes and bottles set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to a visitor. The smell of incense from the temple nearby often drifts in through the windows. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers because we’re a bit hidden away. Most people who come here have been told about us by their friends or family. We spend a lot of our time just blending different things and seeing how they turn out. It’s a slow process and we don't like to rush it. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to see what’s new. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling everything from the mixing to the bottling. It’s a modest setup, but it suits the kind of work we do. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule; we just start when we’re ready and finish when the work is done for the day. It’s a peaceful spot in a busy part of town.
