Our work happens at R/2 in the Bhavna Rowhouse area, just behind the Isanpur bus stand. It is a practical location because the buses are right there, though it can get noisy when the drivers rev their engines early in the morning. The rowhouse isn't very big, so we use every bit of space we have for our files and computers. Chandrakant Thakker Co has been here for a while, and the place has a lived-in feel to it. It’s more of a home-office vibe than a corporate one. We don't have any flashy signs out front, just a small plate with the name on it near the gate. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of paper. We spend most of our mornings drinking coffee and going through the mail. The afternoons are for the harder stuff, like audits and balancing the books. There is a small garden area out front, but we don't really have time to look after it much, so it’s mostly just grass and some weeds. We don't put on any acts here. If you come in, you’ll see us as we are, usually buried in some paperwork or talking on the phone to the tax office. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than finishing the work we have for the day. It’s a quiet way to make a living, and the Isanpur area is a decent place to be based for what we do.
