Cambridge Institute

Cambridge Institute is located in the Narnarayan Complex in the Paldi area of Ahmedabad. We occupy two rooms, 408 and 409. It’s quite convenient because we are right opposite the Dadi Dining Hall and near Pritamnagar. If you’re hungry after a session, you just have to walk across the street. Our office is a bit of a maze of desks and bookshelves. We have stacks of English books and practice papers everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but it has a lot of character. The chairs are mismatched because we’ve added more over time as we needed them. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their goals and writing things out on the boards. The walls are a bit plain, maybe a little yellowed from age, but they hold up the shelves just fine. There’s a ceiling fan in each room that makes a clicking noise on the medium setting. We don’t have a big fancy sign out front, just the name on the door and the complex directory. It’s a local spot where people feel comfortable walking in and asking for help. We usually have some tea around and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s just a regular place where we work hard and help people with their language skills every single day.
