Braino Art

Our place is at 1, Aanal Duplex in the Maninagar area. It is right opposite the Baliyakaka Mandir, which makes it very easy to find for most folks in the neighborhood. Being in Vishawakunj Colony near Dhor Bazar means there is always something going on outside our door. We have a lot of art supplies scattered all around the rooms. Paints, brushes, and big stacks of paper are pretty much everywhere you look. It is a bit messy and disorganized, but that is just how an art space tends to be. We spend most of our time showing people how to draw or paint different things. It is a small space, so things can get a little bit cramped when we have a full group of students. The natural light comes in well through the front windows in the morning hours. We have been here in Ahmedabad for quite some time now. The temple bell rings throughout the day, which is a nice and calming background sound for us. We are not a big gallery or anything fancy like that. It is just a workshop where people can come to get their hands dirty with colors. Sometimes the floor gets stained with ink or paint, but we do not mind that much. We do not have a receptionist; you just walk in and find us working on something. It is a very casual atmosphere for everyone. We just like seeing what people create here.
