Bindu Arts

Our place is situated at 22 Sharda Flats, right across from the Dharnidhar Derasar in the Paldi area. It is a residential building, so it doesn't really look like a shop from the outside. We use the space to do all our artistic work. It is often quite crowded inside because we have frames, canvases, and jars of paint sitting on almost every available surface. We have lived and worked in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know most of the neighbors in the flats. They often stop by just to see what we are working on or to have a quick chat about the weather. It is a very different vibe than a commercial studio. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you'll probably find us with paint on our clothes, busy with a project. The location is good because it is easy for people in Paldi to reach us. During the day, it is relatively quiet, which helps us focus on the details of our work. We started this because we needed a place to create, and it just grew into what it is today. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just like making things and providing for ourselves through our craft. It is a quiet, honest way to spend the day. Sometimes the light in the flat isn't great, but we make it work. It feels like home to us.
