Bholenath Timber

The yard is located right near the Ishwarnagar Bus Stand on Isanpur Road. If you are walking down that way in Maninagar, you’ll probably smell the wood before you see the sign. We have stacks of timber piled up all over the place, some of it seasoned and some of it fresh. It’s a dusty place, honestly, but that comes with the territory when you’re dealing with logs and planks all day. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space for new deliveries. The saws are usually running in the back, making a fair bit of noise that carries out to the street. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us, but we’re still doing the same thing. People from around the area come in looking for specific cuts of wood for their homes or projects. We don't have a showroom with fancy lights. It’s just a yard with a small office where we keep the ledger and a few chairs for visitors. Some days it’s raining and we have to scramble to cover everything up with tarps. Other days it’s so hot the sap sticks to your hands. It’s hard work, lifting and loading, but we like being outdoors mostly. We know the local contractors and the guys who drive the delivery trucks. It’s just a local timber business trying to keep the stacks organized.
