You’ll find us at Beround Software Private Limited on the 12th floor of Shivarth - The ACE, which is right on Sindhubhavan Road. If you know Ahmedabad, you know SBR is one of the busiest and most modern roads in the city now. Our office is in unit 1201, so we’re pretty high up. The view from the windows is actually quite good, especially in the evenings when all the streetlights come on. The building itself is one of those newer glass ones with fast elevators, which is a bit of a change for us. Even though the building is fancy, our office inside is pretty basic. We’ve got long desks for the developers and a small corner with some old chairs for meetings. It’s usually pretty quiet inside, except for the sound of typing. We spend most of our time on software projects, and because SBR has so many cafes, we’re never short on places to get coffee or lunch. The only downside is the traffic on the main road, which can be a nightmare during rush hour. We try to time our departures to avoid the worst of it. We don’t have a big story or anything like that. We are just a group of people who needed a good space to build software, and this spot happened to work out. It’s a professional enough environment, but we keep it casual among ourselves. No fancy dress codes, just getting the work done.
