Our office is located in Shahpur, right in Halimni Khadki. If you know the Jain Mandir, we are directly opposite that, near Tripathi Hall. It’s an old part of the city with narrow streets and a lot of history. Being here means we see a lot of local life every single day. We handle travel arrangements, mostly focusing on getting people where they need to go without too much fuss. The office is small and filled with maps and papers. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, so the locals know us well. Sometimes it’s hard for big buses to get through the narrow lanes, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking schedules and booking seats for people. It gets busy during the holidays when everyone wants to go home or take a trip. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a sleek lobby. It’s just a counter, some chairs, and us working. People come in to ask about ticket prices or the best way to get to a certain town. We try to give them clear answers based on what we know. The area around Tripathi Hall is always lively, so there’s never a dull moment outside our door. Sometimes the bells from the temple across the street ring while we are working, which is a sound we’ve grown very fond of over the years. It's a simple life here in Shahpur and we've got our routine down pretty well.
