B E E C is situated on the second floor of the New Kalpataru Co. Op. Housing Society, which is on Timber Market Road in Pune. Being in a housing society means it’s a bit different from a standard commercial office. It’s quieter, and we have to be mindful of the residents living around us. We’ve been in this Pune location for a while now. The Timber Market area is always full of activity, with trucks and wood being moved around, so it’s nice to come up to the second floor where it’s a bit more peaceful. Our office is just a few rooms where we handle our daily operations. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the essentials for our work. Most of the time, we are busy on the phones or working at our desks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby or expensive furniture. We just want to get through our tasks and do a decent job for whoever needs us. Pune is a big city, but the community around Timber Market Road feels quite local. We see the same faces every day at the tea stall downstairs. It’s a practical place to work. We like that we are easy to find but tucked away enough to actually get things done without too many distractions. It’s just us doing our bit in a corner of this busy city.
