B C Sariya & Co is located at 63 Sardar Patel Colony in the Naranpura area. We are quite close to the Sardar Patel Statue, which is a landmark everyone around here knows. The office is in a residential sort of neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than being on a main commercial highway. We have been working out of this spot for years. The front of the place is quite plain, just a door and a small sign. Inside, there are stacks of registers and papers on the desks. We deal with construction materials, mostly iron and steel stuff, so things can get a bit messy. The phone rings pretty often with people asking about prices or delivery times. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot in the summer, and the fans in the office just push the warm air around, but we are used to it by now. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually go for a break in the afternoon. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People in Naranpura know where we are, and word of mouth usually brings in the new customers. Sometimes the street gets a bit narrow when there are cars parked on both sides, making it tricky for the trucks. It’s an honest place where we just focus on the daily trade and keeping things moving along.
