You can find us over at Avkash Algorithms on the sixth floor of the Abhisree Adroit building, which is near Manshi Circle in the Vastrapur area of Ahmedabad. Unit 603 is where we spend most of our time. Vastrapur is a pretty lively part of the city, and being so close to Manshi Circle means there is never a dull moment outside. We have a good view of the surrounding neighborhood from up here, which is a nice change from just staring at code all day. The office is set up with a simple layout that allows us to shout questions to each other without having to get up. We work on various algorithms and data-related tasks, which mostly involves a lot of concentration and quiet time. Of course, there are also times when we’re all debating the best way to solve a problem, and it can get a bit more talkative then. We have a small area for taking breaks and having tea, which is pretty much a requirement for any office in Ahmedabad. We don’t have any of those modern office gimmicks like slides or hammocks; it’s just a place with good desks and decent light. Most of us just come in, put our headphones on, and get to work on whatever project is currently on the table. We’ve grown quite fond of this spot in Abhisree Adroit over the years. It feels like a solid place to get things done without too many distractions.
